Podcast: The Art of Adaptability

As I mentioned on the homepage, I have a regular contributor position at the fantastic and empowering Like A Boss Girls blog. But BEFORE they bestowed me with my 15 minutes of fame every Sunday night at 7pm EST (insert shameless plug), I had to prove myself.

Enter: The Mind of a Mentor Podcast.

A few months ago, LABG’s Editor In Chief (who is also one of my besties) Lucy Ross spent an hour interviewing me on my life, work, inspiration, and the funny story of how a bartending job that I applied for in desperation turned into a turbocharged career in the beauty industry.

So if you’re interested in hearing my story, I thought I’d link it for you here.

And if you’re like “Sam that sounds great and everything, but I don’t have an HOUR to spend listening to you blather on” then I leave you with some inspirational quotes from my blathering that just might convince you to listen.

I’m not a perfectionist. I’m a Let’s-Do-Things-Right-ist

– Me

This woman has traversed industries from entertainment to finance to beauty. Samantha thinks analytically and strategically at all times, brings the best out of a team, and is transparent about what she wants out of life (cough cough: very nice shoes).

– Lucy

Uhm… how old are you?

– A very impressed listener

Is my Mind of a Mentor Podcast better than the latest Ted Talk? Are you going to listen to this and find out that I’m completely full of shit and have no idea what I’m talking about? Honestly, I don’t know. And you won’t know unless you listen.

So just do it, ok? And feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments (unless you hated it – in which case keep your negative nelly trap shut).
